5K Run starts at 10am / 1.5M Walk starts at 10:05am
What better way to work off your Thanksgiving Day calories than to sign up for the 2025 annual Turkey Trot? The Turkey Trot is a 5K Run or 1.5M Walk that benefits the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children. The 5K starts at 10am followed by the walk kicking off at 10:05am. There will be awards for the Top 3 Men & Women overall and the Top 3 in each age group. We encourage festive dress up and will have a prize for the best dressed group!

There’s more fun in store in Avalon on Saturday! Snowfest Saturday is a free family fun event with bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, trampolines, a rock wall, ice sculpting and carnival rides.
Santa will be in his sleigh at 21st & Dune Drive for family photos, but you must get in line by 3:30pm. There will also be Holiday Performances throughout the day, sponsored by the Avalon Free Public Library.
